I started at the east side of Myra Canyon, and the hike was dry and the views were great, but where the KVR travels on the north side of the slopes the snow was still pretty high. Fortunately, a Bobcat-like John Deere SKID STEER LOADER was clearing the path... unfortunately for me, he had another 2 kilometers to go when I passed him; a tough finish through 2 to 4 foot packed snow in which I sometimes punched through, sometimes stayed on top. There was also some rock scaling that wasn't complete, so I'd give it another month before venturing out on the Myra Canyon Trestles.
