June 22, 2018: Idabel Lake Rd. to Wilkinson rd.

Thirty five kilometres today with Doug completes my continuous hike from Faulder to Rock Creek, 225km. Yippee! Great scenery... parts of the trail were like the west coast (rain most of the day, humid). We found fewer bugs at Arlington Lakes, but it was difficult to stop and rest anywhere else along the KVR due to the mosquitoes, and with a seven-hour hike, we could have used a few rest stops. After the torrential downpour from the day before, we had to bushwhack around a few lakes that had grown on the trail.
